The PFL returns to the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland today (April 16) for a card headlined by a huge lightweight matchup.
The main event was originally supposed to see Paul Hughes square off with Jay Jay Wilson, but Hughes unfortunately pulled out from the bout with an injury. Wilson now faces undefeated Irish talent Darragh Kelly, who has submitted both opponents he’s faced under the PFL banner.

The night’s co-main event features former Cage Warriors titleholder and UFC veteran Rhys McKee taking on Alex Lohoré.
McKee is competing for the first time since a stoppage-loss to Axel Sola brought his second UFC stint to an end, while the 36-year-old Lohoré most recently competed in MMA for BRAVE CF before suffering a loss to Ilya Khamzin in his Karate Combat debut last month.
What’s the difference between the PFL and the UFC?
McKee won’t be the only UFC veteran in action at PFL Belfast, as Tyson Pedro makes his return to MMA to face 2024 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion Dovlet Yagshimuradov in matchup that rounds out the night’s three-fight main card.
Caolán Loughran will also look to rebound from the loss he suffered to Jack Cartwright in his PFL debut when he takes on Alan Philpott during the prelim portion of the card. Other highlights from the prelims include undefeated bantamweight Ciaran Clarke taking on Dean Garnett, as well as the promotional debut of fellow undefeated Irishman Eoin Sheridan against Chris Mixan.
