UFC Anti-Doping has handed out two suspensions following failed drug tests.

Alibi Idiris Suspended

As UFC Roster News reports, Kazakhstan’s Alibi Idiris (10-1 1NC) has been suspended for 12 months for testing positive for Hydrochlorothiazide, a type of medicine used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention.

His suspension began on February 21, 2026, and will end on February 21, 2027. This is a retroactive suspension dating back to Idiris’ fight with Ode Osbourne, which Idiris won by unanimous decision. As such, the result is now a No Contest.

Idiris’ new UFC record is 0-1 1NC.

Bassil Hafez Suspended

America’s Bassil Hafez (9-5-1) has also received a 12-month suspension, testing positive for Ipamorelin, a drug used to stimulate growth hormones. His suspension began on March 20, 2026, and will end on March 20, 2027.

Hafez is best known for his competitive fight against future welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena.

He hasn’t fought since losing by knockout to Oban Elliott in November 2024. Despite this, Hafez has been tested six times in 2026, as per UFC Anti-Doping, and his suspension will have been backdated to a test around March.
