The wait is nearly over for ONE Samurai 1, which is set to take place at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan on April 29.
Four belts on the line at ONE Samurai 1
Boasting a total of four championship bouts across three different combat sports disciplines, ONE Samurai 1 is headlined by a rematch between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Takeru Segawa, which will be contested for the interim ONE kickboxing belt at 135 lbs.
MMA gold will be on the line in the night’s co-main event when Yuya Wakamatsu looks to defend his belt and extend his five-fight winning streak against Avazbek Kholmirzaev, who won all five of his ONE Championship appearances during the course of 2025.
Songchainoi Kiatsongrit will also challenge Nadaka Yoshinari in the lone Muay Thai title bout on the card. The night’s final championship offering is arguably the most-anticipated of the scheduled bouts, as Jonathan Haggerty will look to defend his ONE kickboxing title against Yuki Yoza.

The event will also be available through U-NEXT for viewers in Japan. The first two fights of the night, which will see Kanata Nagai and Atsuya Kanbe meet in an MMA bout before Hyu Iwata and Taiki Naito throw down in kickboxing, will also air live on YouTube.
The action kicks off at 2:30 p.m. local time in Japan (JST), which will be 1:30 a.m. ET, 10:30 p.m. PT (April 28), and 6:30 a.m. BST.
