Netflix makes its debut in the MMA space with its inaugural card this weekend, headed by the returns of women’s MMA pioneers Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano. The card is brought to you by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, and brings with it a star-studded lineup.
MVP MMA 1 locks horns with UFC’s Meta APEX event, Allen vs. Costa, on the same night, but has the distinct advantage of Netflix’s roughly 300 million subscribers. Whether it can match the magnitude of Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul, which was also on Netflix, remains to be seen.
In this article Fighters Weekly will break down when the event starts, who’s fighting, and how to watch Netflix’s debut MMA event this weekend.
How to watch Rousey vs. Carano, Diaz vs. Perry
MVP MMA 1 prelims will kick off on Tudum at 5 pm ET / 10 pm BST. The main card will be available to all Netflix subscribers at no additional cost. The 11 fight card is set to kick off this Saturday, May 16th.
